  1. @giovanni So sorry about my delay in responding. I tried this out and it works fantastic! Thank you so much. This is going to save me so much effort at work with the EST folks
  2. Thank you so much! I'll give this a try at work tomorrow when I have my Alfred.
  3. I'm trying to see if ther eis a way that I can use Workflows to automatically paste time zone differences. Example: trigger using ;time and a text field pops up where I enter a time, let's say 2:00pm and then when I hit enter, in the Clipboard is 2:00pm/12:30pm EST My timezone has an extra 30mins and it screws up a lot of people, so if I could do something like this to easily post the time conversion based on the time I enter, that would be awesome, just not sure how I would make it happen.
  4. Appreciate this. I do have the === added in and I do have the cat << EOB and the end EOB, but when I use the keyword, nothing happens, so wondering if I'm missing something. Vero's solution does not help as hers uses commas and newline which will not work for mine as they are jokes, so they contain commas AND newline in many of them by default.
  5. I'm using the Oblique Strategies as the base, all I've done is change the contents of the Random to my quotes. The issue I have is that I'm using quotes that already contain commas, so I can't use those to separate, and there are quotes with new lines included because the are technically jokes/Puns so leaving it on a single lines makes it strange to read This is the contents of the Random section. I've tried with less space and mroe space with the same results:
  6. Thanks. But I can't seem to get it working. I put my quotes in and used the separator but when I do the Keyword nothing happens. Am I missing a step to get it to trigger?
  7. I'm trying to setup a random quote generator, but the only options in Random are Words separated by comma or newline and Words separated by newline. Could we have an option where we can input a specific separator, like perhaps ; | or --- Since I'm using quotes, many of them have commas in them already, and when I use just 'newline' it copys ALL the quotes to the clipboard rather than just a single one since they all have newline between them. I've attempted to put additional spacing to see if that would help, but I'm still getting everything in the Clipboard.
  8. Awesome! I've got it working, thank you so much for this!!!! This is going to save me SO MUCH TIME ❤️
  9. Thanks for this, are you able to expand and show me what you have in terms of contents for the Save the Query portions for getting those setup.
  10. Thanks Stephen! I'll install it and take a look when I get some time after my learning sessions. Will let you know if I have any questions.
  11. I used to be a heavy user of TextExpander but it was a corporate thing and I don't have it anymore, but I'm hoping I can replicate one of it's features with Alfred, just not sure how. So basically I could trigger a Snippet with TE using ;link When that happened, it popped up a window with two fields, one for text and one for link that I could just type into and tab into the next. When I hit enter, it would wrap the content in Markdown as such: [First Field Contents](https://secondfieldurl.com) Is there a way I can do this with Alfred either using Snippets or a Workflow? I'm not much of a developer myself, so some of the instructions are a bit confusing to me. Any help is appreciated!
  12. Here you go, thanks for looking! https://transfer.sh/w6fMfAE6Lk/Quotes Test.alfredworkflow
  13. I tried New Line as well, but I can't get it to actually do anything other than play the sound at the end, the text doesn't show up anywhere.
  14. I'm trying to create a random Quote generator with Random Snippets. Random uses a comma to separate, but many of my quotes also have commas in them. Is it possible to change the random deliminator so I'm able to use commas in my quotes? I tried using a Workflow Words from List, using Separated by New Line, but it doesn't paste anything (though it plays the sound after). I've tried with my quotes and single words and nothing shows in the text fields. If anybody has any suggestions to make it work, let me know! I have saved using the X and even exported it and tried again.
  15. MacOS Version: 14.0 (23A344) Alfred Version: 5.1.3 [2175] Chrome Version: 117.0.5938.149 This only seems to happen in AirTable. I have confirmed that it works in Google Sheets and Numbers. I've also tested in a few text editor apps and text fields online (including this box) and they paste without issue. Unable to get screenshot as it's not doing anything to screenshot. What happens: I copy multiple Part Numbers (text only) from a website. Switch to Airtable Bring up Clipboard History Select Item to Paste (Clicking OR using Shortcuts) It pastes into Field in Airtable Move down one field Bring up Clipboard History Select Item to paste (Clicking OR using Shortcuts) Nothing happens, no matter how many I select. Need to Restart EITHER Chrome or Alfred to get it to paste into AirTable again while continuing to work in other places. No updates available for OS or any of the apps.
