Clipboard merging shortcut too fast

Back then Andrew said "I'm going to take a look at the logic of the clip merge before v3 release".

 

Just wanted to check whether this behaviour has stayed the same on purpose or it just fell under the carpet. I know it seems to be only a minor issue but for me it's a make or break thing, when this shortcut only works a third of the time.

@Karl87 I had slowed it down a little, and now it's pretty similar to double clicking the mouse.

 

For merging, are you holding the cmd key, then tapping C twice? You have to be quite slow to not get a merge.

Ah ok.

 

Yes, I hold the cmd key and tap C twice. I've tried it in recent days and I've finally got a hang on it and now it work I'd say 90-95% of the time.

 

If it doesn't, I still can delete the accidentally made entry with fn + backspace
