politicus
That makes sense. I was thinking about a different use case you had in mind when building your workflow Link to comment
vitor
Update. Removed the “Blank” (wlb) option. It was a relic from the first versions, and I don’t feel like it’s an important one to keep. Also removed Alleyoop support.A new option was added — “Share” (wls). DownVid now automatically adds some metadata to downloaded files (it’s a standard com.apple.metadata:kMDItemWhereFroms that’s also added when you download a file with Safari and Chrome, and perhaps a few others), and this takes advantage of it. Call wls to see your list of watched files; the ones that have a reference url to where they’re from will display it. Press ↩ to copy the url to the clipboard, or ⌥+↩ to open it in your default web browser. Link to comment
vitor
Update. wli now shows both duration and size. Link to comment
vitor
Update. This brings functional and structural changes, including a change to the list format. This is incompatible with previous versions. This was done for various reasons, including preparation for a possible new feature (still being considered), and both fewer and faster commands (explained a few paragraphs down). What the previous paragraph means is you should backup your list or watch everything in it before upgrading. You won’t lose your current list, but you won’t be able to access it with this version. If you want to get rid of your old lists down the line, you can simply run rm ${HOME}/Library/Application\ Support/Alfred\ 2/Workflow\ Data/com.vitorgalvao.alfred.watchlist/*.txt in a terminal.Adding to the watchlist will now always add to the top instead of the bottom.wli is not available anymore, and wlp will now show you the duration (if applicable), size, and location of the file; the difference is it’s way faster than wli ever was, since that information gets saved when adding to the list, as opposed to generated when you run the command. If you’re a DownVid user you should update it as well, as it’s ready for the new format. vitor
Update. It now supports streaming. This means that you can now copy a url to the clipboard, call swl in Alfred, and that link will be added to your watchlist. All the other options work the same on it, but you don’t need to have the file in your disk to play it. You need mpv or VLC to take advantage of streaming.See the top post for more details. vitor
What do you mean by “it‘s not working”? You need to be specific about what you’re trying to do and what is happening or not happening so I can stand a chance to diagnose. Link to comment
