RobertF
Since Dropbox moved their default location on Macs to ~/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox, Alfred can't find and open any files I store in Dropbox. Initially, I thought this was a Spotlight problem since, as I understand it, Alfred uses Spotlight to locate files. However, in my case Spotlight can find my Dropbox files just fine but Alfred can't. Is there a way to fix this problem? Thanks. Link to comment

RobertF
I solved the problem this way: 1. Open Alfred Preferences. 2. Go to Default Results > Search Scope. 3. Click the Reset... button. 4. Select Reset to Applications and Home. gammawert 1 Link to comment
winterhalder
This fixed it for me - thanks! That said - I don't quite understand *why* it fixed it... Unless I'm missing something - the list of directories for Applications and Home - does not include ~/Library/CloudStorage directory -- so how is this working now when it wasn't before? Hmm - is it maybe because the [x] Folders in Home - Excluding ~/Library is unchecked??? Link to comment
