Alfred can't find files stored on Dropbox

Recommended Posts

Since Dropbox moved their default location on Macs to ~/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox, Alfred can't find and open any files I store in Dropbox.  Initially, I thought this was a Spotlight problem since, as I understand it, Alfred uses Spotlight to locate files.  However, in my case Spotlight can find my Dropbox files just fine but Alfred can't.  Is there a way to fix this problem?  Thanks.

This fixed it for me - thanks!

That said - I don't quite understand *why* it fixed it...

Unless I'm missing something - the list of directories for Applications and Home - does not include ~/Library/CloudStorage directory -- so how is this working now when it wasn't before?

Hmm - is it maybe because the [x] Folders in Home - Excluding ~/Library is unchecked???
