Perplexity.ai - I can't seem to build a search

I like the occasional search via perpexlity.ai - but any search I do comes back with what looks like a UUID - not a search term that I can build a WebSearch from. Anyone solved this?

Open that URL in Alfred and you’ll have a Web Search with the keyword pai that you can change.

Hi, thank you Vitor, is there a way I can use it with a an Hotkey ? Here using alt+space I always get this error message.

I think this is just a handler to set up custom web search, i.e. intended to be used only once.

Once you do that, you should be able to to run searches on the perplexity website by writing "pai your query" in Alfred and hitting return. 

 

If you're setting up a workflow, the URL you enter into the Open URL Object should just look like this: 

https://www.perplexity.ai/search?q={query}

 

If your hotkey is set to use the selection in macOS as argument, triggering it will open the perplexity website with whatever text you have currently highlighted.
