Text View - saving on exit?

I am currently using the amazing Alfred Gallery • Workflows • Note Taker workflow. I have one minor issue, however. The default behaviour is that when a note is open, CMD + Enter need to be pressed in order to save the note. Would it be possible to change the behaviour so that the notes "auto-save"? For example, when clicking away or closing the popup via Esc key, the note automatically saves. How would I be able to achieve this?

 

I believe this would quite significantly improve the workflow, because in most cases there would be no reason not to save a note. Most of the time this behaviour leads to unsaved files and potentially loss of data.
