You can use drag and drop while holding down the ⌘ key to overcome the problem (although I appreciate that may not be the solution you want). Stephen Link to comment
Vero Posted May 4 Share Posted May 4 @janthemaker As Stephen says, this is by design; Copying to a network volume can be unreliable, the connection can be dropped or slow. As such, the file is being copied so that a local copy remains safely on your original drive in case the copy fails. [Moving to discussion & help] Link to comment
