"Open in background" key modifier so i can continue using alfred with the current query

Sometimes i'd like to run the current query through multiple actions or fall back searches. It would be cool to have the option to open these without losing Alfred and have to reopen it.

You can do that with workflows. Edit the connection and tick “Don’t close Alfred window on actioning result”.

Note that can be dependent on the result of the action. For example, if you use it to open multiple web pages and the web browser is not currently open, the fact that the first trigger opens the browser may steal the focus and thus close Alfred. But with the browser already open, that wouldn’t happen.
