Clement42
Hello, My Alfred deleted all my web search settings automatically. This is very weird. I don't sync. Do you know where can I find settings to restore or to save next time? Thanks a lot Link to comment
Vero
@Clement42 Did you perhaps use an App Cleaner or other third-party tool that claims to speed up your Mac by deleting unnecessary files? Your preferences are found in this location if you're not syncing: ~/Library/Application Support/Alfred/ If you use Time Machine or another backup tool, navigate to the location above and copy the full Alfred.alfredpreferences package to the same location on your current Mac, and you should see your web searches and other preferences appear again. Clement42
Hello, thanks a lot for your FAST reply. No I did not used any cleaning tool. I did not even restart the computer. And I hesitate to restart it now... Thanks for the info. Does updates removes preferences? Even my theme changed but AFTER my websearched were erased... Something very weird happened. Alfred gradually deleted my preferences. Never seen that before. I don't use timemachine sadly. Link to comment
Vero
@Clement42 Alfred never removes your preferences, not on upgrade or on deleting Alfred from your Mac, so *something* happened on your Mac that has made your preferences either become inaccessible (they may still be there) or be moved/removed. Could you please provide your Diagnostics file, which you can get by typing "?diagnostics" into Alfred? You can then email the file to our info@ address and I'll take a look. Link to comment
