jeffsui Posted June 12 Share Posted June 12 I'm running Nix-Darwin and I just upgraded ... but the relevant point is suddenly I can't seem to find Visual Studio Code any where unless I start with `'` Option 1: Option 2 In the directory itself it does have a leading `'` I've tried all 3 options for Applications and nothing seems to do what I want. Vero Posted June 13 Share Posted June 13 @jeffsui Due to the way you've cropped the screenshot, I'm not able to see whether you have a scroll bar in your first screenshot. If you remove folders from your default search scope temporarily, does Visual Studio Code appear in default results at all? Is the ~/Applications/Home Manager Trampolines/ a normal folder or a management tool folder of some sort? I have VSC installed, and it's directly in the Applications folder, not in this intermediary folder, and I've looked online and found no references to it. The "easy" band-aid solution is to create a mini workflow with a keyword to it: https://www.alfredapp.com/blog/tips-and-tricks/give-files-nicknames-to-find-them-faster/ However, it would be preferable to work out why it isn't showing up in your default results.
