luciano
Say I want to attach a file to an email. My current approach is to search for file with Alfred then drag and drop the file into the email. Instead of drag and drop, I'm wondering if I can attach the file selected in Alfred with a keyboard shortcut? Link to comment
Vero
@luciano Which email client do you use? This will define what's possible for that particular email client. Link to comment
vitor
Use the Universal Actions shortcut to open the pane then search for Email to…. Press ↩ and type the receiving email. If you want that from a single keyboard shortcut, make a new workflow and connect a Hotkey (with Argument set to Selection in macOS) to an Action in Alfred Utility (with Jump to set to Email to…). See the Getting Started Guide for an interactive tutorial on making a workflow. There is comprehensive documentation on the website to follow up (tip: find help for any object fast by clicking the (?) icon while editing).
