Extract tables from PDF documents as CSV.

Usage

Extract tables from PDFs via the Universal Action and export them as CSV.

• Use PDF to Table (Lattice) if there are ruling lines separating each cell
• Use PDF to Table (Stream) if there are no ruling lines separating each cell

• Tabula (The jar file is included in this workflow)

 

 

This one is rather niche, but I have just learnt that tables in PDFs can be a serious challenge for visually impaired users, whereas tabular data in CSV format is much easier to handle. I hope this is helpful to some people!
