FireFingers21
Firefox Bookmarks is a port of my original linkding Bookmarks workflow, with a number of new features specific to Firefox. It should be way more frictionless than other similar workflows, requiring minimal setup to get up and running. It's compatible with Firefox, Firefox Developer Edition, and Firefox Nightly, using different icons and colours for each build. ⤓ Download | Source Firefox Bookmarks Usage Search for your Firefox bookmarks using the bm keyword. Type to refine your search. Bookmarks are always filtered by Name, while filtering by URL, Tags, Keyword, and bookmark description are configurable from the Workflow’s Configuration. ↩: Open bookmark in primary browser⌘↩: Open bookmark in secondary browser⌘C: Copy bookmark URL⌘L: View all tags and full URL in Large Type⇧: Hold to show bookmark description Firefox Developer Edition and Nightly builds are also supported and configurable. The Workflow's icon colours and bookmarks will change based on the selected Release Channel. Append :: to the configured Keyword to access other actions, including opening the Firefox Profile Manager. Bookmarks are only indexed from the default profile, which can be changed from the Profile Manager in each Firefox build. Configure the Hotkey as a shortcut to search for your bookmarks. Bookmarks with the tag Exclude-Alfred will be hidden from search. This tag is case sensitive. Note: Due to a limitation of Firefox, bookmark changes may take time to appear in Alfred. Restarting Firefox will make all changes appear immediately. JJJJ 1 Link to comment
FireFingers21
This workflow makes use of jq, which now comes preinstalled on macOS Sequoia 15.0.0 and later. If you're on at least macOS Sequoia, you don't need to worry about dependencies for this workflow. Users of macOS Sonoma and earlier will still need to install jq, which can be done via Homebrew. Was just about to share that bit of good news! Looking at the workflow, it seems like it still has configuration for lots of other browsers, e.g. in the Workflow’s Configuration. Is that intentional? Is that intentional? Yes it is. I wanted the ability to explicitly and quickly hop between browsers (as I frequently tend to do) while maintaining Firefox as a main bookmark hub. Link to comment
