Miscue
Hello, When I search for office apps ... excel, word, etc. the corresponding icon does not show with the filename. It just shows the default blank white square. Any idea? Thanks! Link to comment
Andrew
Hello, When I search for office apps ... excel, word, etc. the corresponding icon does not show with the filename. It just shows the default blank white square. Any idea? Thanks! First, try typing 'reload' into Alfred to clear his app cache. If this doesn't work, could you take a look in Finder to see if the icons are missing for Office? Cheers, Andrew Link to comment
jmyron
I have this issue on my new macbook. MS office icons show up in finder and cleared app cache in Alfred, but did not solve problem. Also have had Alfred installed on my iMac for a few years and never had this happen on that machine. Any other ideas on a solution? Link to comment
NJDave
Any luck here? Same issue on a new iMac with only Office 2016 installed. My old mac has both 2016 and 2013 installed and does not have this issue. Reload and Advanced > Clear Application Cache have not worked. Link to comment
woodiah
Curious if anyone found a solution for this -- It is just an irritation at this point, but if correctable all the better. Link to comment
