Vero
Friends two questions: what is the keyword for in the snippet creation? when will I use it? You can access your snippets in two ways: 1. Through Clipboard History: Type your Clipboard History hotkey (cmd + alt + C by default) to show your clipboard contents, if enabled, and a shortcut to your snippets. Press return on the "All Snippets" header to see your list of snippets. Typing the keyword for your snippet (or any text from within the snippet itself) will filter your results down to just those that match the keyword. For example, this user says he has a selection of snippets relating to DMCA notices, so he'll use "DMCA" as the keyword to bring up the few relevant snippets: http://iamsteve.in/10/2014/alfred-app-ruined-my-life/ 2. In Alfred's search box with "snip": If you remember your snippet keywords, you can type "snip" in Alfred's input box followed by your keyword, e.g. "snip dmca" to bring the snippets up in Alfred's results. Here's even more details on creating and using snippets: http://support.alfredapp.com/tutorials:clipboard-snippets And finally, for your last question, when you paste a snippet, the cursor should automatically appear after the pasted text Hope this helps! Within the snippet can I move the cursor to another location? Id like to move it to the top and right of the word hello upon executing the snippet. Thanks! Migs Link to comment
