Safari bookmarks not appearing in Alfred on Mac Mini, do on MacBook

Recommended Posts

I have a Safari bookmark which begins with "TQ".

When I launch Alfred and type "TQ" I expected that this bookmark would be one of the ones that I see.

That works on my MacBook, but not on my Mac mini.

Here are my preferences, which are sync'd between the two computers:

Here's what I see, on my Mac mini compared to my MacBook

Any ideas why this is happening, and (more importantly) how I can fix it?

Thanks

Hi TJ,

Looking at your Default Search Scope, you seem to be missing some essential/very useful search paths. For bookmarks and history, you'll need to make sure that ~/Library/Caches/Metadata is included in your scope on your Mac Mini.

You can press the "Reset" button to reset the search scope to Alfred's defaults and ensure that scopes that matter most are included :)

Cheers,

Vero

Ok but how is it working on one computer and not the other?

Your scope settings are one of the few things which aren't synced between your two Macs (as the two Macs may have different scope requirements), so you may have the required folder on one Mac, and removed from the other.
