Cassady
Hello all, Would appreciate some guidance. I'm using the Clipboard feature extensively inside Scrivener at the moment, and it's saving me plenty of time with the ability to quickly copy and paste recently used citations/references pulled in from Bookends. The one thing I'm not sure on, is the option of preserving formatting – is this possible? In other words, assume I copy the following: Text Italic Text Text When I invoke the clipboard, select and paste that clip – the formatting is removed (in other words, Text text text). Is there anyway to preserve it? I've tried pasting with Cmd+Opt+Shift+V, but nothing changes. Any way to work around that – or am I doing something wrong/missing something? Link to comment
Andrew
Alfred's clipboard was specifically designed to be text only, so no formatting. As such, when pasting, the formatting will match the destination formatting. This may change in the future, but there is no workaround for now. Cheers, Andrew Link to comment
