hadees
I think this might be caused by one of my workflows but I'm not sure how to figure out which one. I'm using Alfred v2.8.1 (425). Every time I hit the Alfred Hotkey it freezes and won't let me type for roughly 15 seconds or so then it behaves normally. Link to comment
Andrew
I think this might be caused by one of my workflows but I'm not sure how to figure out which one. I'm using Alfred v2.8.1 (425). Every time I hit the Alfred Hotkey it freezes and won't let me type for roughly 15 seconds or so then it behaves normally. While Alfred is freezing, could you select the Alfred process in Activity Monitor.app then from the toolbar, select "Sample Process". This should help identify what may be causing your issue. It might also be worth restarting your Mac and reindexing the metadata using the shortcut in Alfred's advanced prefs. Let me know how you get on Cheers, Andrew Link to comment
hadees
Thanks for the tip, I still have the issue. Here is a sample from my Alfred 2 process. Link to comment
Andrew
Thanks for the tip, I still have the issue. Here is a sample from my Alfred 2 process. It looks like this is being caused indirectly by the OS X metadata querier - did you try reindexing yet? If not, select to delete the V100 folder as there may be some corruption in the metadata. If you're not sure how, take a look at step 4 of the Indexing guide: https://www.alfredapp.com/help/troubleshooting/indexing/ Cheers, Vero Link to comment

hadees
I figured it out, it was the domainr workflow. Is there anyway to keep a workflow from locking up Alfred like that? Link to comment
deanishe
A workflow shouldn't be able to lock up Alfred, as they shouldn't get run till you type their keyword. Have you changed the workflow's keyword? Have you tried deleting and re-installing the workflow? Link to comment
