AlfredJimmy
FIXED by setting Alfred focus to compatibility mode in the Appearance > Options I'm on V2. Until I can use V3 for snippets, I use another snippet system. I often type the text triggers in the Alfred focus box. Recently, however, Alfred has been 'stealing' the first letter. For instance, I type ZZJ to expand into my email address. This worked for years in Alfred. But the recent change means that if I type ZZJ in the focus nothing happens. If I to type an extra character in Alfred before the trigger string, the trigger string works, but the extra character is left in front of it. So if I type ZZZJ I get Zmy@email.address. I have a workaround. Type a letter. Delete that letter. Type the trigger string. So, Z, backspace, ZZJ gives the proper result. Is this something that can be fixed? Andrew
Is this something that can be fixed? TIA Jim Alfred won't be stealing characters, but it may be something to do with Alfred being a non-activating panel. Try setting Alfred focus to compatibility mode in the Appearance > Options, this may help Cheers, Andrew Link to comment
