DONSA
Hi, I want to set a custom bash (source "${HOME}/.zshrc") when running all the scripts in my workflow. There's any elegant way of doing this or I have to set it on the first line of each script? Link to comment
deanishe
Nope. You have to source it each time. I assume "bash" is a typo. You probably don't want to be sourcing your zsh configuration from bash. Link to comment
DONSA
Yes, my mistake. I will source it every time then. Link to comment
deanishe
Be aware that it might slow down your workflow a lot. Or maybe I just overdo it with my dotfiles… Link to comment
DONSA
The performance is good, I just wanted a way to make it optional for those that use a custom command line shell. Link to comment
deanishe
The performance is good Depends on what's in your ~/.zshrc, tbh. If you have loads of plugins (and you don't skip loading them when not in a terminal) it can take over a second to load. What are you building, by the way? Link to comment
DONSA
Because of this wordflow I've created. I'm now using ImageMagick to resize the movie posters to include them as a thumbnail image in results. The problem is that I get the "ImageMagick Not Found EasyImage requires ImageMagick to work." message if I don't specify my custom shell. Link to comment
deanishe
Subtitles? That's awesome! Wouldn't export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/bin be sufficient to get ImageMagick to work? Link to comment
DONSA
True, it works. I will include it in every script. Yes, the workflow it's really cool, I use it all the time. Next version will also include the movie posters and Trakt.tv integration. Thanks for your help. Link to comment
